Our book launch at the Brandywine SPCA's Bark on the Boards event on October 20 at the Rehoboth boardwalk had lots of activities going on all around us for four hours. It was a successful day, but the weather did not cooperate and attendance was much lower than expected. However, the hardy crowd that showed up was very interested in my new book about leadership lessons from my dog. Please join us or our next event at Rehoboth Public Library on December 1 2018, starting at noon.
The author and her husband, Bill, and, with assistance from their dog, Bogie, attend to the table where we had treats and water for dogs and humans as well as books for sale.
The SPCA's cat and dog mascots brought additional excitement for the kids and the mascots clearly enjoyed the event themselves.
A contest for which dog could jump the farthest into a pool, installed just for this event, was a big hit. And the dogs loved it too!
One of the activities offered was yoga with puppies. What a great way to relax and have fun.
